Itinerary

You will be picked up from Marrakech Airport and transferred to the riad where you will spend the night.
Night at Riad Le Clos des Arts or Riad Kheirredine.

Today we suggest you set off and explore Marrakech’s medina. You can spend all day pounding the souks and taking in the atmosphere or visit some of the main cultural sights of Marrakech, including the Medersa Ben Youssef, Palais el Badi and the Bahia Palace, interspersed with a leisurely lunch watching the storks nesting on the ramparts of the ancient city. In the evening, be sure to head down to the main square here food stalls, acrobats, snake charmers and story tellers congregate creating an unforgettable atmosphere which is compelling for adults and children alike.

After breakfast we will leave Marrakech and drive to Ait Ben Haddou. This will be about 3,5 hours driving.
You will travel across the High Atlas Mountains to dramatic stone and mud-built fortresses known as Kasbahs and fortified villages known as Ksars. The Ksar at Ait Ben Haddou is UNESCO World Heritage-listed. Spend the night at a hotel.
Night at Ksar Ighnda or Riad Caravane.

After breakfast you will drive towards Todra Gorges passing by Kelaa M’gouna, Boumalne du Dades and stopping for a panoramic view of Dades valley. Later on, we will continue to Todra gorges via Imider and Tineghir. Stopping along the way for photos and admiring the views. Arrival to Todra Gorges to enjoy its marvelous Canyons views.
Night at Auberge Le Festival

In the morning you will have free time for walking in the beautiful area of the Todra Gorges. In the afternoon you will drive via Tinejdad and Erfoud to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, these dunes are called also Merzouga Dunes. Arrive to the auberge and get ready for a camel trek for an hour and half to enjoy the sunset. While on the back of your dromedary, you will continue to the camp for an overnight in traditional nomad tents. Dinner and spend the night in a luxury desert camp in the middle of the dunes.
Night at Luxury Desert Camp

Day at leisure to relax in the desert.

After viewing the most beautiful sunrise and having breakfast at the camp site you will ride the camels back to the auberge. From there you will drive to Ouarzazate to visit Taourirt Kasbah, a former Glaoui palace and the main attraction of the desert oasis city. This 300-room fortress, in part restored, marks the junction of 3 rivers – Dadès, Draâ and Ziz – as well as numerous caravan routes. And while Glaoui chiefs – known as caïd – never resided in this opulent palace, the Glaoui kasbah of Taourirt once housed hundreds of people. You’ll have time to tour the palace and stroll the kasbah’s irregular streets.
Spend the night at a hotel in Ouarzazate.
Night at Le Temple des Arts.

Leave the pre-desert country for the magnificent High Atlas Mountain landscape, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka pass at 2260m. Head into the splendid Toubkal National Park, passing through small villages on winding mountain roads, arriving at Asni where you will spend the night.
